Great to meet you!

While depression & anxiety may be reasonable responses to your life experiences and the state of the world, that doesn't mean you have to suffer alone. You deserve support. I strive to create an environment where you can safely lean into difficult feelings and process your past and present without shame or judgment. We will work collaboratively to unpack the impact of systems, relationships, & intersectional identities (i.e. women of color, immigrant background, cultural stress) on your well-being. Together, we’ll explore healing as an act of empowerment & transformation.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to tailor treatment to your needs by drawing from various modalities. I integrate trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative, art, mindfulness, & somatic practices, with culturally informed perspectives. I am currently training in Internal Family Systems and CBTi (for insomnia). I truly believe in our human capacity for positive change and growth, and therapy’s effectiveness in being a part of that change.

What you can expect from me

The first session will be different from typical sessions as I will go over informed consent, confidentiality, and assessment-related questions. I’ll invite you to share what brings you to therapy, your goals, and anything that feels important for me to understand about your experiences. We’ll explore what support looks like for you and outline a plan that feels both comfortable and empowering as we move forward. You can expect a warm, collaborative space where we’ll get to know each other and begin building a foundation of trust.
