Great to meet you!

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals to reach their full potential by enhancing their overall functioning, well-being, and relationships (most importantly is our relationship with ourselves).

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in the belief that clients are the experts on their own lives. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership built on mutual respect, compassion, trust, and teamwork. Guided by my faith, I strive to treat every person with dignity and understanding, without judgment. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, foster personal growth, and pursue healing. I am also passionate about promoting mental health awareness through education, support, and advocacy to help reduce stigma and increase access to care.

Clinically, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is my foundational orientation. I also use other interventions/orientations to explore the origins of thought and behavior that has become problematic, disruptive, or unhealthy such as Psychodynamic or Motivational Interviewing. I do not believe that a "one size fits all" approach works among people or within a person's life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to gain from our work together. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs.

I view clients as partners in the therapeutic process and believe that you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will explore your strengths, challenges, and goals while creating a plan that supports your growth, healing, and overall well-being.

You can expect a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where you are encouraged to share at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin your journey toward meaningful change.
