Great to meet you!

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in addiction treatment, anxiety and chronic pain, I believe healing goes beyond managing symptoms. I take a mind-body approach that focuses on understanding and addressing the root causes of emotional and physical distress. I am also certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy for chronic conditions, allowing me to incorporate understanding of the brain to decrease pain and distress. While medication can be an important part of treatment when appropriate, I also integrate psychotherapy and other non-pharmacological approaches to create individualized care that aligns with each client's goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and goal oriented. I want my patients to feel heard and also make steps towards being "unstuck". I tend to lean less towards prescribing as evidence shows most lasting changes are through psychotherapy and other modalities. However, medication can be used as a bridge and when necessary. My hope is for every one of my patients to feel empowered in their own journey to reclaim their lives and live freely without distress caused by anxiety, pain, and other mental health conditions.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave our first session with a clearer understanding of what may be driving your symptoms, greater insight into your mind and body, and navigate a plan towards your healing and success.
