Great to meet you!

Dr. Fatima Odetalla is a dually board-certified Nurse Practitioner in New York. She graduated in 2013 from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, with her dual doctorate degree, in both Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health.

She has over 10 years experience treating anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, in addition to other conditions. Dr. Odetalla treats all ages across the lifespan.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Odetalla is passionate about treating clients holistically. Utilizing her family medicine and psychiatric knowledge, she embraces an integrative and culturally sensitive approach to diagnosing and treating mental health conditions.

Cultural considerations are important when considering holistic interventions, as clients are experts in their own lives. At Lighthouse BH, we believe clients are to be met where they are at, not where we want them to be or where we think they should be.

What you can expect from me

Just as lighthouses guide ships in the dark, and through storms, Lighthouse Behavioral Health strives to assist clients who are experiencing mental health issues with navigating life's challenges through self awareness and empowerment.
