Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and over three decades of experience in nursing across a variety of clinical settings. My background includes working with diverse populations, including adults and older adults, with a wide range of mental health needs.

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and stress-related concerns. My approach is grounded in evidence-based care, and I prioritize building strong, therapeutic relationships with my patients. I take time to listen, understand your concerns, and ensure that your treatment plan is both effective and aligned with your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, patient-centered, and focused on the whole person. I combine medication management, when appropriate, with supportive and cognitive-based therapeutic techniques to help patients better understand and manage their symptoms.

I work closely with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan, taking into account their experiences, preferences, and lifestyle. My goal is to provide care that is thoughtful, practical, and sustainable, helping patients improve both their mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a comprehensive and respectful evaluation in a calm, nonjudgmental environment. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, and any relevant medical or life factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.

Together, we will begin developing a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management and supportive strategies. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, understood, and with a clear sense of next steps.
