Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Faviola, a therapist passionate about helping individuals feel more understood, supported, and empowered through life’s challenges. I earned my degree in social work and have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, behavioral concerns, family conflict, self-esteem challenges, life transitions, and emotional regulation difficulties.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where clients can be themselves without fear of criticism or pressure. I work to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients while also helping them develop practical tools they can use in everyday life.

I strive to meet each client where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs, goals, culture, and experiences. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and learning healthy coping skills that can be applied outside of sessions. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

When working with my clients, I incorporate developmentally appropriate interventions, emotional regulation skills, and communication building techniques.

I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I aim to create an environment where clients feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely supported. Therapy is not about being perfect, it’s about building insight, resilience, confidence, and healthier ways of coping with life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin getting to know each other. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals for treatment. My priority is to help clients feel comfortable, heard, and understood without pressure or judgment.

The first session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions, share what they hope to gain from therapy, and begin building a therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for them. Together, we will create goals and a plan tailored to your unique needs and experiences.
