Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I believe in meeting clients where they are and supporting them as they move toward where they want to be. My goal is to help clients cultivate hope, strengthen their ability to face life’s challenges, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, mental wellness, and self-actualization, while assisting you with becoming the healthiest and most empowered version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

My style is grounded, supportive, and culturally responsive, and I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be fully yourself while also being challenged toward growth. I help clients explore patterns, process emotions, build coping tools, and move through life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, identity development, relationship concerns, and the unique experiences of BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients. I also integrate expressive arts-based interventions, mindfulness, and evidence-based approaches such as CBT and motivational interviewing when they fit a client’s needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. We will talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I also use the first session to learn more about your background, strengths, and goals so that we can begin building a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
