Great to meet you!

Welcome

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I believe finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.

I am a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) with experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and transitions. I work with adults facing a variety of concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, life adjustments, relationship challenges, grief, and emotional wellness.

I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and helping them move from survival toward healing and growth. Whether you are struggling with feelings of anxiety or depression, processing difficult experiences, or simply seeking greater balance and fulfillment in your life, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey.

Therapy is not about having all the answers. It is about creating a space where growth, healing, and self-discovery are possible. I look forward to helping you take the next step toward living a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I understand that every person's story is different, and I strive to meet you where you are while helping you build on your strengths. Together, we will identify obstacles, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward the goals that matter most to you.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect in Your First Session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace.

During our initial meeting, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will take time to understand your unique strengths, challenges, and life experiences so that we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.

Together, we will identify areas of focus and begin exploring practical strategies to support your emotional well-being. Whether you are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, or relationship challenges, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. The first session is simply a starting point. By the end of our meeting, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of the therapeutic process, a sense of our work together, and initial goals that will guide your path toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
