Great to meet you!

Greetings, I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with advanced training in counseling, cultural competence, and theology. I have over 30 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I specialize in grief and loss, life transitions, caregiver fatigue, and stress-related concerns. I offer a supportive, down-to-earth space where we’ll work together to develop practical tools that strengthen your sense of agency and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My approach to therapy

Your story matters, and it deserves care that reflects who you are and what you’ve experienced. My work is trauma-informed, grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, and supported by an eclectic, holistic perspective. Once we decide to work together, we’ll partner in your therapeutic journey, creating a space where you feel respected, heard, and supported. I’ll listen, gently challenge you, and help you develop tools that strengthen your voice, confidence, and sense of agency.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive space where you can share what’s bringing you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll explore your current concerns, identify what you hope to gain, and begin setting goals that feel meaningful to you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences and strengths, while creating a space where you feel heard and respected. By the end of our time together, you can expect a clearer sense of direction and the beginning of practical tools to support your growth and next steps.
