Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is FeliciaCroston and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio with over 27 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, elderly, end of life patients, and families. My background includes clinical work in outpatient behavioral health, school-based services, and community mental health settings as well as Hospice care. I have supported clients through a wide range of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, relationship stress, life transitions, death and self-esteem concerns.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and practicality. I believe therapy should feel like a safe and empowering space where you are truly heard and supported while also being gently challenged to grow. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and adapt the work to fit your unique needs, strengths, and comfort level.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about creating a safe, comfortable space where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I focus on building connection and helping you feel grounded from the very beginning. From the moment we begin, my goal is to help you feel heard, supported, respected. Not rushed or judged.

The first session is centered on understanding: What brings you to therapy. What challenges you’ve been experiencing. What strengths you already possess. What you hope to change, heal, or improve. Together, we begin identifying your goals. These goals help guide our work and ensure therapy feels purposeful and personalized.

By the end of the session, you will have: A clearer understanding of how therapy works. An idea of what our sessions will look like moving forward. A space to ask any questions or express concerns. A plan for your next appointment.

My mission is to help you feel safe, empowered, and ready to begin the healing and growth you’re seeking.
