Great to meet you!

If you've been carrying anxiety, self-doubt, or the weight of family stress on your own, therapy can be the exhale you've been waiting for. I work with adults and women navigating moments that feel too heavy to hold alone: the grief that hasn't had space to breathe, the trauma that still surfaces when you least expect it, the overwhelm of trying to keep everything together. You don't need the perfect words or a clear plan to start. Just a willingness to show up.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which means we'll look at the patterns keeping you stuck and build tools you can actually use between sessions. I also draw on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, so we spend time on what's already working in your life, not just what isn't. You can expect honesty, curiosity, and practical takeaways. And yes, a little humor when it helps.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about listening. I'll ask what brought you in, what life has looked like lately, and what you'd like to feel differently. There's no pressure to share everything at once or to arrive with a polished story. Some clients come with a clear focus; others just know something needs to change. Both are a perfectly fine place to start. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of what we're working toward and what the next few sessions might look like.
