Felicia Herrero

Hi! I am Felicia. I am a LCSW in the State of New Jersey as well as a PMH-C (certified by postpartum support international). I transitioned from working with adults & teens to also expanding to working with women experiencing PMAD (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders) in 2024 as well. My ideal client is a young adult or woman experiencing a difficult time in their life or in motherhood. I love empowering & educating clients to overcome these difficulties. My ideal client is looking for a therapist who does not judge them, is caring, and is dynamic in the therapeutic process while cheering them on!

My calling to working with young adults and mothers is my own life experiences. I have made it my mission to stay up to date with the best continuing education, and resources in order to empower my clients. Many of my clients feel more confident in working together after the initial few sessions. I want my clients to feel HOPEFUL about their future.

It can be so difficult to ask for help. I would love to have that be the hardest part of the process of working together. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, safe, and not feel judged by anything you need to share. I strive to make therapy a space that you feel challenged enough to grow but safe enough to be vulnerable in the process. Let's grow!

I have a warm, empathetic, energic & empowering approach. I enjoy using a variety of styles depending on the client & their needs, but lean into CBT, ACT, and a strengths-based approach most often.

My clients can hope to feel understood, empowered, and most of all HOPEFUL about their future and their ability to reach their intrapersonal & interpersonal goals with ongoing support.
