Great to meet you!

My focus is to help you find healthy ways to overcome difficulties and achieve greater satisfaction in life. I place particular emphasis on providing emotionally safe, supportive, and affirming services to marginalized families, including those identifying as Black and LGBTQIA+.

I primarily work with families, couples, and individuals using Narrative Family Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also trained in and utilize directive play therapy, child-centered play therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor. Additionally, I am an AAMFT Board Approved Supervisor. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Houston, a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and a PhD in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University.
