Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Felicia Ige, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience in mental health, public health, acute care, and education.

I hold a Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from Walden University and a Master's degree in Nursing Education. I specialize in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and personalized mental health treatment.

Above all, I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should never feel one-size-fits-all. I take a compassionate, collaborative, and culturally sensitive approach, recognizing that your experiences, values, and goals are unique to you.

I combine evidence-based treatment with genuine listening to understand not just your symptoms, but how they affect your everyday life. Together, we'll explore treatment options and develop a plan that feels right for you. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and confident in your mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say.

We'll talk about what brought you in, your symptoms, personal history, and what you're hoping to achieve. I'll ask questions to better understand your needs, answer any concerns you may have, and discuss possible treatment options, including medication when appropriate.

Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and reassured that you don't have to navigate your mental health journey alone.
