Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) with a PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. At EdYouth Counseling, I serve as Clinical Director and work directly with you during intake assessment and throughout your care. If we’re a good fit, you'll continue working with a member of my team as I remain actively involved in your case, treatment planning, case consultations, and connecting you with the full range of support EdYouth Foundation offers.

This approach can be a little different than other therapists, but it means you get my clinical expertise at the front end and ongoing, paired with the focused, personalized attention of an additional clinician who can be fully dedicated to your care. This model also allows me to be deeply involved in serving more clients through collaborative work with my team of counselors, who bring fresh energy, strong training, and my direct oversight to every case.

I've spent my career working with adolescents, young adults, and families navigating hard seasons, big transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My background includes counseling, supervising, training and educating clients and graduate students. I have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, relationship and attachment concerns, self-harm, suicidal ideation, trauma, foster care/adoption experiences, and the weight of holding it all together.

My approach to therapy

We'll talk about what brought you here now, what's been feeling heavy or stuck, and what you're hoping might change. I'll ask background questions to understand your history, relationships, and current stressors, but you're always in control of what you share. We'll explore what kind of support will serve you best and discuss how to connect you with other resources through EdYouth Foundation's pathways programs if they'd be helpful.

What you can expect from me

By the end, you should have a better understanding of what's happening, why it matters, and the next steps forward. Most clients leave feeling relieved, more hopeful, and like someone finally understands their big picture. You can expect a calm, non-judgmental space where you'll be heard and supported as you work toward your future goals.
