Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of experience with individuals, families, and groups. I am also a social work professor with over 15 years of experience in higher education. I earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Family Studies from Texas Woman’s University and a Masters in Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of California, Berkeley.

My approach to therapy

My style is relational, collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I ask targeted questions to help you identify negative patterns and unlock solutions while developing skills to increase self-confidence, maintain healthy personal boundaries, and personal healing. To that end, I incorporate a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Practices, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from me

I will partner with you to identify the best strategies for long-term, lasting growth and results.
