Felicia Perez Campana

I grew up in South Florida where I developed a lifelong love for dance. I went to college at Florida State University, and it was there, I developed my passion and love for volunteering, working with youth, and developing people. While in graduate school, I focused on eating disorders as a treatment specialty, specifically higher levels of care (residential and partial hospitalization programming). Since 2017, I’ve worked as a therapist in different age groups. Starting with young children and moving on to being a therapist for a middle and high school. In 2022, I was able to return to my first passion in therapy and I started with The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders. I’ve worked as a primary therapist, a team leader, and a site director with the company’s residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. I am now opening up some of my time on the side to venture into the private practice world and return to the direct work I fell in love with years ago.

Therapy is a space to understand yourself and work out what you’re dealing with. I believe that in order to truly sort it all out, you must feel safe enough to be honest. With that honesty comes the openness to accept accountability and the willingness to start doing things differently. My approach is to build a space with you comfortable enough where you can feel safe to explore, and uncomfortable enough so you can feel driven to challenge your status quo.

In a first session with me, you can expect to be encouraged to share a bit about you and what you’re hoping to accomplish. You can also expect that we’d lay down some ground rules and structure depending on your goals. I love learning about the people I work with and prefer to hear your story from you early on, as well as letting you know a bit about what you can expect from me as your therapist. Together we will lay some foundation and then plan for next steps. I look forward to working with you!
