Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I've always believed that symptoms are just one part of the story. The real work — the interesting work — is finding the thread that connects everything else.

I've been doing this work for over ten years, and my practice has been fully telehealth since 2020 — which means I can meet you wherever you are in Washington State, literally and figuratively.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University and have continued building my practice through training in motivational interviewing, mindfulness self-compassion, and body-centered awareness. But perhaps more importantly — I've lived enough of my own life to know that the path back to yourself is worth every step. I bring that into the room with me every session.

I work with adults navigating burnout, life transitions, relationship patterns, chronic illness, and the quiet exhaustion of being strong for everyone else.

My approach to therapy

My approach starts with the whole picture — not just the symptom that brought you here, but everything connected to it. Your relationships, your body, your history, your sense of meaning and purpose. The causes are often more complicated and far-reaching than they first appear. So is the healing.

I draw from mindfulness, CBT, and ACT — but I don't work from a script. I follow the thread. I pay attention to what's happening beneath the words, including what your body is carrying that your mind hasn't found language for yet.

Real change doesn't begin with fixing anything. It begins with acceptance — of where you are, who you are, and all the parts of yourself you've been trying to outrun.

What you can expect from me

A first session with me isn't about filling out forms or running through a checklist. It's about beginning to listen — to what you've been carrying, and what it might mean.

I think in images. Often while a client is talking, something arrives — a picture, a metaphor, a way of seeing what they're describing. I'll offer it gently. Sometimes it opens a door. Sometimes the client finds their own image entirely — and that's when the real work begins.

I want you to leave each session with something to carry, something to try, something to bring back.
