Great to meet you!

Hi, I am Felicia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 18 years of Social Work experience, supporting adults, children and families through life's challenges. I have served many populations in a variety of settings, such as schools, foster homes, community-based clinic, and hospital.

I work with clients who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or navigating difficult life transitions. Many of the individuals I support come from diverse cultural backgrounds, including African American and Latino communities, and are looking for a space where they can feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

I understand that culture, family dynamics, and life experiences can play a major role in how we cope with stress, trauma, and expectations. In our work together, I provide a supportive and nonjudgemental space where you can explore these experiences openly, without feeling misunderstood or needing to explain your background.

I also have a strong background supporting individuals and families dealing with stress related to health issues, caregiving, family roles, and major life changes.

Additionally, I speak conversational Spanish and am happy to incorporate it into our work when helpful, while sessions are primarily conducted in English.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I use evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care to help you better understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and develop tools you can use in your daily life.

Whether you're dealing with something recent or something you've been carrying for a long time, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session my goal is to help you feel more grounded, more in control, and more like yourself again.
