Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Chaplain, and Ordained Minister with over 30 years of experience in education. I am dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges with compassion and professionalism.

I have experience working with clients navigating life transitions, stress, anger management, emotional regulation, and developing healthy relationships, as well as those impacted by trauma. I focus on helping individuals build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop healthier ways of managing emotions and daily stressors.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where clients feel heard and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I work with you to understand your experiences, identify challenges, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change. I use evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and can integrate faith-based principles if desired. I specialize in life transitions, anger management, stress, trauma, and relationship challenges. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful space where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and build healthier patterns in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect an empathetic, warm, and accepting environment where we can build a strong therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe space for you to share your experiences and your greatest hopes for therapy. Together, we will clarify the therapy process, explore your concerns, and begin identifying goals. You will leave with practical strategies and a sense of being heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
