Felix Disso

My name is Felix Disso and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and currently completing my Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). I am focus on delivering evidence-based mental health care to diverse populations. Dedicated to fostering therapeutic relationships, conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, and developing individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and resilience. Some of my focus areas of treatment would include mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and alcohol and substance use conditions.

My approach of providing care integrates psychopharmacology with psychotherapy to address both acute and chronic mental health needs. Known for a holistic, patient-centered approach that considers biological, psychological, and social factors, ensuring care is tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances.

At every first session with a patient, evidently I would start with introduction and rapport building. My primary goal is to establish that connection with my patient, understanding goals of treatment, establishing a safe and collaborative space that would enhance treatment and patient outcome.
