Great to meet you!

I am a doctorally prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with extensive clinical experience across the lifespan. My background includes over a decade as a critical care nurse, several years as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and specialized training in psychiatric mental health, which gives me a holistic perspective on both mental and physical well-being. I provide care that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I work with a wide range of concerns—from mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorder to anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, substance use disorders, and more—and aim to create a safe, trusting space where clients feel heard and respected.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and patient-centered. I integrate medication management with psychotherapy in a way that is tailored to each person’s unique needs, values, and life goals. I emphasize listening carefully, building trust, and partnering with clients so they can actively participate in their treatment planning. Being trauma-informed means I take into account past experiences and current stressors, and I work with clients to support not only symptom relief but also long-term resilience and well-being.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a comprehensive and compassionate evaluation of their presenting concerns, history, and goals for care. We’ll discuss symptoms, treatments tried previously, and your overall health and lifestyle context. I’ll explain how psychiatric care works, what options may be helpful, and how medication and therapy can work together when appropriate. The focus is on understanding your experience fully and collaboratively planning next steps, ensuring you feel informed, comfortable, and supported as you begin your treatment journey.
