Great to meet you!

Hey all! I'm Fernando I have experience working with young adults and adults who are going through major life transitions, whether you're facing career changes, relationship shifts, or questions about identity and purpose. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenging periods with clarity, patience, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My engagement with clients is lighthearted and warm in order to cultivate a trusting, safe, and respectful space. I integrate person centered, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and solution focused modalities to create a foundation of coping and mindfulness tools necessary to manage daily life stressors, self-deprecating thoughts, and overwhelming emotions. Having tools to ground ourselves is fundamental as we dive into existentialist-insight oriented work to address relationship difficulties, past traumas, childhood and family of origin experiences, and universal human concerns of death, love, belonging, and feelings of isolation. The concept of viewing “life as a marathon” teaches us that any long-term therapeutic goals require patience, dedication, and commitment. On this journey together we can find a pace that works for you as you move towards a path of healing and life satisfaction.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can express yourself authentically and be fully heard. My approach to therapy is both direct and easygoing, allowing for honest conversations at a pace that is comfortable for you. As a Muslim I incorporate a holistic approach rooted in the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, offering faith-informed services to those who value a spiritually grounded approach to mental health.
