Great to meet you!

I am an adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who is double Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have expertise in a wide array of clinical setting, from Emergency Rooms to schools which have allowed me to have a range of skills and therapeutic approaches. Congratulations on taking the first step to getting help for yourself or your child.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My treatment philosophy centers on treating the whole person. We will explore mental, physical, and emotional health. I take time with each patient and family to discuss their goals and understand their unique strengths and challenges. Often when people begin psychiatric care, they are at a difficult point in their life. My job is to help them (or their child) to find their strengths and build their resilience, so they can regain their health and continue to grow to their fullest potential.

What you can expect from our first session

Intake sessions are focused on understanding the patient and their needs, with a focus on detailed history and strength based approach. On going treatment focuses on medication monitoring and assessment of other factors influencing treatment response.
