Great to meet you!

I received my Bachelors' degree from UC Berkeley and my Masters of Social Work degree from San Jose State. I have worked with those struggling with anxiety and depression for over 5 years. I pull from an eclectic approach with skills from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and an orientation aligned with Internal Family Systems, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of connection, humor, and compassion. I believe that as humans, we generally try the best we can in our circumstances, and sometimes just need a little nudge towards a different perspective to find the answers within ourselves – and I am happy to be that nudge for you.

What you can expect from me

We will spend our time together identifying your best goals and hopes from therapy, your strengths, and stuck points. As we work together, you might notice yourself growing more patient and compassionate to yourself, and living a life more aligned with your own values.
