Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome! I'm an LCSW out of California, and I have been working with clients in Tennessee for the last 6 years as well.

My experience has been broad, from private practice to a psych hospital and even working with survivors of domestic violence. I’m also bilingual and have enjoyed working with clients in both Spanish and/or English - whatever best facilitates their goals.

At Luma House, I hope to offer a steady, compassionate presence to help you find your way while honoring that you are the one who chooses the direction.

Whether it's talk therapy, skills building, or EMDR - I'm looking forward to support you as you become the next best version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I see therapy as a journey we take together, where you remain the expert on yourself and the direction you want your life to take. I approach your story with curiosity rather than judgment, because I believe there is a reason behind the ways we think, feel, and behave, even when those patterns may no longer serve us. Like a lighthouse, my role is not to steer your ship, but to offer light, perspective, and tools as you navigate your own path; I may gently challenge you, ask questions, or help you build new skills when it feels useful. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, MI, and trauma-focused approaches, tailoring our work to your needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope might change. We’ll talk about your history, current concerns, and goals, while also reviewing confidentiality, consent, and what you can expect from the therapy process. If you are unsure where to begin, that’s completely okay, we can figure it out together! My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of where we can begin together.
