Great to meet you!

I am a Peruvian American non-binary trans therapist who believes that therapy should be accessible to everyone. I strive for therapy to be a healing space by ensuring that the therapeutic relationship is collaborative between the client and the clinician. I do this by providing a safer space for clients where they can unmask and feel free to ask for any accommodations they might need.

My approach to therapy

My work heavily relies on internal family systems and somatic modalities, as well as pulling from relational and “spoon theory” practices. My approach is helping facilitate the connection between mind and body, and parsing through the internal knowledge and wisdom that each individual holds collaboratively. I aim to provide a space where we can use humor and honor all the different parts of ourselves that we may not often get to share with others.

What you can expect from me

I make sure to employ queer-affirming, trans-affirming, and radical vulnerability practices in my trauma-competent care. For me, this trauma-competent care means participating in a harm-reduction, anti-fat, and anti-racist approach. It is also important to mention that I have experience working with clients who engage in different relationship structures, such as kink and non-monogamy.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing from you!
