Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received my Master of Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2007. Prior starting private practice 2017, I worked as a therapist at Family and Children's Service of Ithaca and at Duke University’s Student Counseling Center (CAPS).

My approach to therapy

My work draws from research-supported therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Clients tell me they appreciate my warmth, feedback and sense of humor. I am committed to social justice and to providing therapy that is empowering and affirming.

What you can expect from me

Psychotherapy is a process of collaboration, curiosity, acceptance, and change. Together, we will explore the factors impacting your experiences and make space for you to reflect and observe. You will be encouraged to clarify your values and set clear and achievable goals. Along the way, I will offer feedback and support. We will explore your current patterns, identify your strengths and resources, and use a variety of strategies for healing and growth.
