Great to meet you!
I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 40 years of healthcare experience. Born and raised in the Philippines, I immigrated to the United States at 19 and settled in California before moving to Nevada in 2017. My career has spanned medical-surgical units, the medical ICU, staff nursing, leadership and management roles, and teaching nursing students as a professor for both beginning nurses and advanced practice nursing candidates. I hold a BSN and MSN from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Advanced Studies in Healthcare Organization Leadership from UC San Diego, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Azusa Pacific University. I trained as a Family Nurse Practitioner and then as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through National University, and I've been practicing as a psychiatric NP since 2020, caring for patients ages 17 to 99 in community clinics and skilled nursing facilities. I'm licensed in both Nevada and California, and I bring a personable, collaborative approach to every patient relationship.
