Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30yrs experience working with variety of populations, helping people during most vulnerable times of their lives. My experience includes working in hospital settings, both in medical and psychiatric units working mainly with adults, elderly, and some teens, as well as serving this population as a clinical social worker and a psychotherapist.

My strength lies in establishing relationships where clients feel safe, genuinely cared for, not-judged, able to trust and express their innermost thoughts and emotions.

My approach to therapy

My therapy is a collaborative process designed to help clients understand, have compassion, and embrace their psychological and behavioral challenges. It's about exploring the reasons you think, behave, react, and feel they way you do and identify your patterns. At the same time allowing you to process and release the challenging unproductive feelings related to your thoughts and behaviors that have been stuck for years. My goal is to provide a safe, kind, and a supportive environment where clients can work toward achieving more clarity, healing, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy emphasizes creating a non-judgmental, safe space where clients feel heard and valued as individuals, allowing them to deepen their self-awareness, getting to know themselves on a deeper level, respecting and appreciating their true essence so that they can achieve genuine self-intimacy.

I believe the more a person works toward achieving self intimacy, the more mental health stability a person can have.

What you can expect from me

In each session, clients are supported in an empathetic, non-judgmental, and caring environment where they can freely share their thoughts and emotions and feel emotionally held. Clients can gain greater self-awareness, insight into their life patterns, discover inner strengths, and develop healthier ways to respond to life's challenges. As a result of this gain, clients often leave feeling empowered, carrying within themselves the validation, recognition, respect, and love needed to sustain them. "Meaning, they feel good in their own skin".
