Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm so glad you are here. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious or exhausted - please know there is a place for you here. To rest, restore, and reclaim your life. You are a gift to this world, and it would be my honor to work with you.

All throughout my life I have loved stories - the great stories of world religions and the everyday stories of our lives. I majored in Religious Studies in undergrad and in 2017 graduated with a Master's degree in Counseling. More recently I completed a Diploma in Theology and a 30-hour training in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy. My specializations include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and spirituality in counseling.

My approach to therapy

I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to guide you into a deeper, more compassionate understanding of your experiences. My approach is collaborative, gentle, and inquisitive. I am genuinely interested in getting to know you, so I can provide support and coping tools that fit your strengths and goals.

Are you grappling with grief, life changes, chronic pain, a (new) health diagnosis, or trauma? I work with adults navigating loss and transitions that touch on the big questions of life. Your spirituality, faith, doubt, and questions are welcome companions as we journey together to a place of renewed wholeness and right relationship with others.

What you can expect from me

I hold space for you to be your authentic self. With me, you don't have to hold it all together or pretend that you're ok. Your pain, longing and joy are all equally welcome and will be met with non-judgment, curiosity and hope. You may find that a single session can encompass both tears and laughter as we move from bewilderment to clarity.

In the first session, I will guide you through some standard questions about your background. This helps me to understand your area of concern within the context of your life. We then focus on the issue that is bringing you to counseling. I may offer exercises, coping tools and homework assignments.
