Great to meet you!

I am fully licensed in the state of Virginia. My education and career experience are in mental health and substance abuse counseling. I work with children (ages 5+), adolescents, adults, and older adults. I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and healing environment and always tailor your treatment to your needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

You may be someone navigating a major life transition, carrying the weight of past experiences, or feeling stretched by relationships, family roles, or expectations placed on you. You might be high functioning on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of yourself on the inside. Many of my clients are seeking clarity, balance, and a space where they don't have to explain their background, justify their feelings, or translate their lived experiences- they want to be understood and supported as they are. I provide a grounded, non-judgmental space shaped by years of clinical experience. I support clients navigating trauma, relationship and martial concerns, life transitions, and challenges impacting school-aged children, with a culturally aware approach that honors and respects each person's lived experiences. Your treatment will be uniquely tailored to you!

You deserve a space where you can slow down, reflect, and feel supported without judgment. Therapy is not about having all the answers-it's about curiosity, growth, and care. You don't have to have it all figured out to begin. If you're ready for a supportive space to reflect, grow, and better understand yourself, I'd be honored to walk alongside you!

What you can expect from me

You made it to our first session, congrats! We will spend time getting to know each other and figure out if we're a good fit. I start each intake asking questions to understand how to create a safe and warm environment for you to shake off the first session nerves and to start our intake questions. Don't feel pressure to show up to the first session and disclose everything...I'll guide us initially and I just want you to show up with an open heart and mind!
