Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Fran—an LPC who believes healing starts with feeling truly seen. I’ve supported children, teens, and adults across schools, inpatient care, and community settings, and I bring that depth of experience into every session. My work blends warmth with evidence-based tools like DBT to help you navigate stress, big emotions, life transitions, and personal growth. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to perform or pretend—you get to show up as you are. Real change happens in connection. And just like the Force, you may not see it working right away, but it’s powerful.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is eclectic and evidence-based, centered on each client’s unique needs and goals. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space while also being honest, direct, and gently challenging when growth calls for it. Sessions balance safety with forward movement—you’ll feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at your own pace.

I integrate tools from DBT, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build emotional awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward a life that aligns with your values. When working with minors, therapy is collaborative and often includes caregivers, because meaningful change happens best when the whole system feels supported. I create space for everyone involved to feel heard and respected while always centering the client’s voice. At the heart of my work is a commitment to equity—therapy should be accessible, culturally responsive, and affirming for all.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a soft landing. It’s a chance for us to get to know one another and for me to understand what’s bringing you here—without pressure or expectations. We’ll move at your pace, focusing on comfort, trust, and what you hope to gain from therapy. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear plan.

For minors, this first session also creates a sense of safety and clarity for caregivers. We’ll talk about goals, roles, and how everyone can feel supported in the process, while ensuring your child has a space that feels their own. It’s simply a conversation where you’re heard, supported, and reminded that taking this step is already meaningful progress.
