Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine and Psychiatry with over 23 years of experience in mental health care. My professional journey has been guided by a deep commitment to providing holistic, compassionate, and culturally sensitive care. I strive to understand the unique challenges each patient faces and to create a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My extensive education and clinical experience have equipped me to address a wide range of mental health conditions across diverse populations.

I specialize in mental health care, with additional training in crisis intervention and the management of acute psychiatric illnesses. My experience spans both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, allowing me to support individuals at various stages of their wellness journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with clients is collaborative, patient-centered, and grounded in compassion. I believe that effective care begins with truly listening—taking the time to understand each individual’s story, concerns, and goals. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing openly and actively participating in their care.

My style is holistic and integrative, meaning I consider the whole person—mind, body, and environment—when developing treatment plans. I combine evidence-based practices with a personalized approach, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Together, we explore treatment options that may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle modifications, and coping strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

I am dedicated to meeting each patient where they are, working collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Together, we establish clear, meaningful goals that align with each client’s values and vision for their life. These goals often include improving emotional stability, reducing symptoms of anxiety or depression, enhancing coping skills, building resilience, and restoring a sense of balance and overall well-being. For some, goals may also involve navigating life transitions, strengthen relationships, or achieve greater self-awareness and confidence.
