Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in New Orleans with experience supporting clients through trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, identity challenges, and overwhelming emotions. I earned my M.Ed. in Counseling and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including trauma-informed and high-acuity environments. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the complex ways people adapt to stress and difficult relationships.

My approach to therapy

My style is calm, attuned, and collaborative. I pay close attention to the emotional patterns, relational themes, and subtle cues that often reveal what words haven’t reached yet. I draw from CBT, DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, mentalization-based therapy, Gestalt, feminist theory, and attachment-focused work, integrating each in a way that fits the person in front of me rather than a preset formula.

Clients who work with me often say they feel genuinely understood—sometimes in ways they haven’t experienced before—because I help them name the experiences, contradictions, and emotions that have never fully had language. I’m direct when it’s useful, steady when things feel overwhelming, and always invested in helping you make sense of your inner world with clarity and compassion.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll slow things down and focus on what feels most important for you right now. I’ll ask thoughtful, grounded questions to understand the history behind what you’re facing, but we move at your pace — never faster than feels manageable. You can expect a space that is steady, attuned, and judgment-free, where you don’t have to perform or minimize what you’re carrying. By the end of the session, we’ll identify your immediate needs, clarify what you want from therapy, and map out a direction that feels doable and supportive for you.
