Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Therapist with nearly 20 years of experience, and I specialize in working with people who tend to overthink—especially in relationships, but also around self-worth, confidence, and mood. Many of my clients are insightful and self-aware, yet feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, doubt, or low self-esteem, where their thinking starts to work against them. Some are also dealing with depression or a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves. My approach is both relational and practical: I help you understand what’s driving these patterns while also giving you tools to shift them. Therapy with me is a place to slow things down, get clear, and start responding differently.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both relational and practical. I focus on helping you understand the patterns that keep you stuck—especially overthinking, self-doubt, and relationship anxiety—while also giving you tools to respond differently in real time. I strongly believe that anxiety is often a coping mechanism for deeper, more difficult emotions, and part of the work is not just managing anxiety, but understanding and addressing what’s driving it underneath. I draw from a blend of approaches, combining insight-oriented work with more structured strategies depending on what’s most helpful for you. I’m active and engaged in sessions, helping you make connections and move toward real, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my goal is to understand what’s bringing you in and how it’s showing up for you right now—especially if you’re feeling stuck in patterns of overthinking, anxiety, or self-doubt. I’ll ask some background questions, but I don’t tend to stay in a purely intake mode—I usually start working right away. I’m active and engaged in sessions, so you won’t just be talking; I’ll help you begin to make sense of what’s happening and why. Sometimes I’ll offer something to think about or work on between sessions, depending on what’s helpful. My goal is that you leave with more clarity and a sense of direction—and over time, to help you get to a point where you don’t need therapy anymore.
