Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m a Mexican-American LCSW who believes that therapy is something everyone can benefit from at some point because life happens! In my practice, I help children and teens navigate peer conflict, grief, anxiety, and depression, while also supporting adults and parents through stressful life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, comfortable space where you feel truly heard and understood. I am honored to be a safe, trusted person for my clients, and I would be happy to be that supportive guide for you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored entirely to your unique story. As a bilingual, bicultural Latina therapist, I practice through a culturally sensitive lens, ensuring you feel completely safe and seen just as you are. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you manage anxiety and depression, while also using a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help you navigate tough life transitions and stress. In our sessions, you can expect a mixture of deep validation, practical coping tools, and a safe space to process your emotions without judgment.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where you can share your story at your own comfortable pace. My main goal is to truly listen, understand your unique perspective, and hear exactly what you hope to gain from the therapy experience. Together, we will look at what is currently going on in your life and start defining what a successful journey looks like for you. You will leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clear idea of how we will work as a team to reach your goals.
