Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner with 23 years of experience supporting adults through relationship concerns, family conflict, grief and loss, career difficulties, and other life challenges. As a United States Marine Corps veteran and former federal law enforcement professional, I’m especially dedicated to helping people who spend their lives serving others. I welcome adults, including men and people in consensually non-monogamous and other alternative lifestyle communities. My style is caring, empathetic, open-minded, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should meet you where you are, with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I earned my master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

My approach to therapy

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). Together, we’ll tailor our conversations and treatment plan to your needs, strengths, and goals. My role is to help you learn practical tools and methods for managing what you’re facing, while creating space to feel heard and understood. I believe meaningful change can begin with small, workable steps toward a life that feels more fulfilling and aligned with what matters to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll listen without judgment, ask about your concerns and goals, and learn what has or hasn’t been helpful for you so far. We’ll discuss what you’d like to work toward and start considering practical next steps. You can expect a collaborative conversation at your pace, with room to ask questions and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
