Great to meet you!

Welcome to doing something important for yourself! I will bring to the table 30+ years of practice as a licensed mental health counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch University. I specialize in trauma informed care and am able to draw from a wide range of modalities.

My approach to therapy

My first goal is to listen to what brings you to seek therapy and to form a basic connection. I find it important to look at formative life events both positive and negative; what kind of narrative has been internalized with respect to one's sense of self; and how this plays out in current relationships and endeavors. Via insight, emotional release and validation, you can shed old burdens.

What you can expect from me

Typical goals/outcomes include: increased self-acceptance, patience and self-compassion; insight and awareness regarding the origin of core issues; improved ability to cope with triggers; self-empowerment; engagement in the process of grieving and loss; improved communication skills and awareness of needs in relationship; career and personal goal enhancement.
