Great to meet you!

My masters degree was earned at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2002. I am dually licensed in both Mental Health and Addictions. My licensures are: Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS). I also hold the following licenses: Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) and Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). I counsel adolescents (over age 15), young adults, college students and adults of all ages.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have learned that some people experience times in their lives that they need help accessing their strengths and capacities to discover growth and healing. Often, mental health symptoms can cloud our ability to see a way out and we need someone who can help light a path. I provide an outside perspective that helps you gain insight into yourself and your goals for personal growth. This insight can assist you to make better behavioral choices.. I respect these choices and will not judge you.

What you can expect from our first session

I have learned that people have unrealized strength, and knowledge within themselves. My passion is helping individuals and families realize this. I help people in processing and addressing their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and developing coping skills to foster progress toward their goals.
