Francesco Rizzo-Duffy (he/him), owner of Anchored Mind Psychotherapy, is both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC). Francesco completed the dual major program with Kean University and Rutgers (formerly UMDNJ) in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation with a minor in Health and earned his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University.
Francesco utilizes evidence-based therapy approaches to assist you to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, and other mental health issues as well as substance related concerns. He believes there is no “cookie-cutter” approach to therapy and curates his techniques specific to the needs of each individual.
Talking with a therapist or counselor can help you deal with thoughts, behaviors, symptoms, stresses, goals, past experiences and other areas that can promote your recovery. Of course, talking with a therapist about personal issues can be tough, but it can help you come to grips with problems in your life. It can also offer an emotional release and a sense of really being heard, understood and supported.
