Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and EMDRIA Certified TherapistTM providing virtual therapy for adults across Florida. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Saint Leo University and have been practicing for five plus years in a variety of mental health settings. My background includes working with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, grief, burnout, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded. Many of the clients I work with are high-functioning individuals who are used to carrying a great deal on their own and are looking for a space where they can slow down, process experiences more deeply, and build healthier ways of coping and relating. I integrate EMDR therapy, CBT, mindfulness-based approaches, somatic and nervous system-informed work, and strengths-based therapy to support meaningful and sustainable change.

As a Haitian American woman, spouse, and parent, I value the importance of cultural identity, relationships, resilience, and emotional safety in the healing process. I strive to create a thoughtful and supportive environment where clients feel respected, understood, and empowered to move toward the life they want to build.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in creating emotional safety and lasting change. I believe therapy works best when clients feel supported enough to be honest about their experiences without pressure or judgment. I work at a pace that feels manageable for each person while also helping them build insight, coping skills, and greater self-understanding.

I integrate EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, relational therapy, and somatic and strengths-based interventions to support healing from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, and life transitions. My work often focuses on understanding how past experiences, attachment patterns, and chronic stress impact emotional regulation, relationships, and day-to-day functioning.

In sessions, I aim to provide a balance of practical tools and deeper processing work. Together, we identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, strengthen coping strategies, and build a greater sense of confidence, resilience, and self-trust. My style is warm, direct, and empowering, with attention to helping clients feel both emotionally supported and actively engaged in the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a supportive and collaborative conversation focused on understanding what brings them to therapy and what they hope to gain from the process. We will review current concerns, important background information, stressors, coping patterns, and any previous experiences with therapy in order to develop a clearer understanding of your needs and goals.

I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially for individuals who are used to managing things on their own. My goal is to create a calm and emotionally safe environment where you do not feel rushed or pressured to share more than you are ready to discuss. Early sessions are focused on building trust, identifying priorities, and creating a thoughtful treatment plan that feels realistic and supportive.

Clients can also expect practical discussion around scheduling, therapy structure, and approaches that may be helpful moving forward, including EMDR therapy, CBT, mindfulness-based strategies, and nervous system regulation skills when appropriate. By the end of the session, most clients leave with a better understanding of the therapy process and a clearer sense of next steps.
