Great to meet you!
I graduated from Columbia University School of Social Work in 2012 and have been a practicing social worker ever since. Getting my MSW was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love my profession, and get a lot of satisfaction from working collaboratively with clients to help them find adaptive and effective solutions to their challenges. It is an incredible privilege to be invited into people's lives. I am committed to doing the best i can for my clients, and to be with them every step of the way.
I believe that all of us have personal strengths that can be employed in the service of therapy, and that one of my jobs is to encourage clients to recognize their resilience and to build on same. I believe that all of us need to find a healthy balance between work and all aspects of our personal lives, and that means practicing self-care in whatever way you see fit. Now more than ever, we need time to pause and center ourselves by practicing mindfulness.
