Francisca Onyemize

Francisca Onyemize is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care across the lifespan. She is experienced in outpatient settings, diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders while integrating patient education, advocacy, and individualized treatment planning.

Believing that stable mental health requires a holistic approach, Francisca combines psychopharmacology with talk therapy to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that respects diversity and promotes lasting wellness.

My approach to care is collaborative, evidence-based, and centered on each individual’s unique goals and needs. I strive to create a safe and respectful environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. By combining psychopharmacology with supportive therapy and patient education, I work with individuals to develop sustainable strategies that promote long-term mental and emotional well-being.

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where they can speak openly about their concerns, goals, and history. I take time to understand their symptoms, medical background, and personal experiences, and together we begin forming an individualized treatment plan. My goal is for clients to leave the appointment feeling heard, understood, and confident that they have a partner in their mental health journey.
