Great to meet you!

I focus on understanding the whole person—their history, strengths, stressors, and goals—rather than reducing care to symptoms alone. My approach is collaborative and evidence‐informed, integrating biological, psychological, and social perspectives. I work to create a space where clients feel respected, heard, and actively involved in decisions about their care. I view treatment as a partnership in which we explore challenges, identify patterns, and build strategies that support long‐term well‐being.

My approach to therapy

I am calm, attentive, and structured without being rigid. I aim to create a space where clients feel respected and heard, especially when discussing difficult or sensitive topics. In sessions, I emphasize:

• Collaboration — decisions are made together, with transparency about options and reasoning.

• Clarity — I explain concepts in accessible language so clients understand what we’re exploring and why.

• Steadiness — I maintain a grounded presence, particularly during moments of uncertainty or emotional intensity.

• Respect for autonomy — clients set the pace, and their lived experience guides the direction of care.

This balance of structure and openness helps clients feel both supported and empowered.

What you can expect from me

The first meeting is about building a shared understanding of who the client is and what they hope to address. This typically includes:

• Exploring their story — major life experiences, current stressors, strengths, and what brings them in now.

• Understanding their goals — what they want to feel, change, or gain clarity about.

• Reviewing relevant history — emotional, medical, social, and relational factors that shape their well‐being.

• Clarifying expectations — how I work, what the process looks like, and how decisions are made collaboratively.

The first session is less about making immediate decisions and more about establishing a relationship built on clarity, trust, and shared purpose.
