Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Frank Gorritz and I am very honored that you are visiting my page. My professional background includes working with clients across diverse ages, identities, and experiences throughout various clinical settings including community mental health, private practice, and mental health hospital settings. Throughout my professional experiences, I have worked with diverse presenting concerns, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and minority stress.

I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychology in 2018, and my Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2022, with additional cognate foci in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, as well as Expressive Arts. It is my passion and love to provide counseling, a service that should be wholesome, creative, authentic, and empowering.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy incorporates a holistic perspective on your needs and wants from the therapy process. Equipped to work from a multitude of different counseling theories and interventions, we can work together to create goals that work best for your journey, as well as simply build a space for you to just be, away from the day-to-day stressors that aren't always judgment free. This space is for you and I am here to help you create what healing looks like for you.

What you can expect from me

Throughout our time together, there are many thoughts, feelings, and insights that can follow the therapeutic process. This is a space where we can actively work on our stressors, process our experiences, as well as dream out loud for the future to build hope and resilience for the coming days. Not only is therapy restorative, but it is a process that promotes your thriving as we move through life.
