Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across the lifespan. With over a decade of diverse clinical experience in psychiatry, substance use treatment, oncology, and medical-surgical nursing, I bring a well-rounded and deeply informed perspective to mental health care.

I am known for delivering patient-centered, trauma-informed care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a strong emphasis on safety, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. I specialize in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management, while also incorporating a holistic, healing-centered approach that considers the whole person—not just symptoms.

My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. By integrating evidence-based treatment with complementary strategies, I work to help you achieve meaningful, long-term wellness and an improved quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative and individualized approach to care, recognizing that your experience is unique. I work closely with you to understand your goals, challenges, and strengths, then develop a treatment plan tailored specifically to your needs.

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in trauma-informed care. I prioritize open communication and shared decision-making so you feel actively involved in your treatment. While medication management is an important part of my practice, I also integrate lifestyle factors, coping strategies, and complementary approaches to support your overall mental and physical well-being.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, with particular expertise in mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, and complex or co-occurring conditions. My focus is not just symptom relief, but helping you build resilience and achieve sustainable wellness over time.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I take the time to complete a thorough assessment, including your mental health history, current concerns, medical background, and personal goals.

This visit is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. Together, we’ll identify your key concerns and start outlining a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication options, supportive strategies, and clear next steps.

My goal for the first session is for you to feel heard, understood, and supported—while leaving with greater clarity about your diagnosis (if applicable) and a clear path forward. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, empowered, and hopeful about your care.
