Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I have always been drawn to understanding people’s stories and the experiences that shape who we are. Through my own growth and experiences, I have learned that healing begins when we feel seen, accepted, and supported. Life brings challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about how to move forward. I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate these moments, helping them build resilience, overcome obstacles, and reconnect with their strengths to create a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I am trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Sand Tray Therapy, and Theraplay. This diverse training allows me to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, experiences, and goals.

While staying current with the latest therapeutic approaches is important, I believe that the foundation of meaningful change is the therapeutic relationship. A strong, trusting connection between client and therapist creates the space for healing and growth. Although I bring clinical expertise and professional training, I believe that each person is the true expert on their own life. My role is not to tell you who you are or what you should do, but to work alongside you as a collaborative partner, helping you discover your strengths, navigate challenges, and move toward the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel both exciting and uncertain. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know one another, building rapport, and exploring your personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. We will also highlight your strengths and the resources that can support your growth and healing.

This session is also a space for you to ask questions and share any concerns or reservations you may have about therapy. Together, we will create a collaborative path forward that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
