Great to meet you!

I'm Dr. Fredric Richmond, a Licensed Psychologist with a few decades of experience. I have a deep sense of empathy for those living with ongoing emotional distress. I'm a supportive listener, and from what we discuss, I'll be able to suggest what evidence-based treatment approaches might be effective in helping equip you with new ways of solving the issues that are persistent and possibly even unrelenting in their negative effect on you.

My approach to therapy

My greatest joy is helping a person reach a point when they feel the weight of their problems lift off their shoulders. My approach depends on your needs. It's based on your goals and what you want to achieve from therapy. I have an interest in therapies widely used as evidence-based approaches to effectively treat depression and/or anxiety. I have found that the result of your work today will produce lifelong strategies to guide your thoughts, feel better and move forward confidently.

What you can expect from me

We work as partners in an alliance to help you specifically achieve the goals of therapy you planned at the start, then you will leave having acquired the knowledge and practice using the insights, thinking, reasoning, and critical analysis skills that will enable you to regulate your emotions, challenge and refute unpleasant emotional concerns and generally feel settled and at peace with yourself, that you're calm, confident and competent in your mindset when we part company.
