Great to meet you!

Welcome to Cross Essence Mental Health Group. We are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care in a supportive and respectful environment. Our practice specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and serious mental illness.

Led by experienced psychiatric providers, we combine evidence-based treatment, medication management, and individualized care planning to support each client’s emotional wellness and overall quality of life. We believe in building strong therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, dignity, and collaboration, while working closely with clients, families, caregivers, and community support systems to achieve meaningful and lasting outcomes.

My approach to therapy

At Cross Essence Mental Health Group, our approach to care is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. We understand that every client’s mental health journey is unique, so we take time to listen, assess each person’s needs thoroughly, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote stability, growth, and overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During the first session at Cross Essence Mental Health Group, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they are encouraged to openly discuss their concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. Our priority is to build trust, understand each client’s unique experiences, and gather a comprehensive history to guide individualized care.

The initial appointment typically includes a psychiatric evaluation, review of medical and mental health history, current symptoms, medications, behavioral concerns, and overall functioning. We also discuss personal goals, coping strategies, support systems, and any challenges affecting daily life.

By the end of the session, clients can expect a clearer understanding of their diagnosis or clinical concerns, treatment recommendations, and a collaborative care plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, behavioral strategies, or referrals when appropriate. Our goal is for every client to leave feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in their mental health journey.
